10/11 Team Capture 2010 District 37 All Star Championship

Tuesday July 13 the 10/11 All Star Team captured the title of District 37 All Star Champions by defeating Del Rey.  The WLL team entered the final game undefeated.  "Our bats really came through for us this game.  Our pitching and defense has been steller every game, but our kids really turned up the gain hitting.  These kids played a fantastic tournament and earned that District flag!" said Manager Jim Quaschnick.

District 37 CMMT Champion Dodgers
The Westchester Little League Minor Dodgers, led by manager Chris Richardson, battled their way through the winners bracket to take it all Monday June 28!  Defeating Compton, they took the District 37 Carl Magee Memorial Tournament (CMMT) Minor Championship title.
  
"These kids went out there and played some great baseball and tore that tournament up!!" said an extremely happy and proud Chris Richardson.
  
It was 2004 since a WLL team has won this tournament.  A total of 28 teams entered this year.  First place is quite an accomplishment!!  WLL would like to congratulate all the players and coaches of the Minor Dodgers for a job well done!!

Local Player Advances!! - 2010 Aquafina Pitch Hit & Run Competition

Congrats to WLL player Jalen Bolton!   Jalen took first place at the Carson Sectionals and has earned the right to move on to Regionals at Dodger Stadium.  Jalen plays on the Major Red Sox.

Monday, March 5
Export team schedule into Outlook or other scheduling software
For those of you with outlook (or other electronic organizer), you can download the schedule into your organizer.
Here's a quick overview.

(I have 3 kids all on different teams so it was worth my time to try and figure out how to enter the 60+ games for the season for the 3 kids.)

- Click on schedules.
- Click on Major, Minor or Farm
- Click on a Team
- Click on Combined tab.
- Changes number of games to display to 30.
- Click on Full Schedule.
- Then click on Check All (or check all yourself).
- Then click on export checked games. Save the comma separated value file to your desktop.
- Then from your organizer, import the file.

This last step varies for what type of program you have and what year.
