Tournament season has come to a close for WBLL.
50/70 –District 28 11u Champions To kick off the Little League pilot program for 50/70 baseball play, West Bradford’s 11u team completed their opening season with a Championship win vs. CALN. We have received our District 28 50/70 banner which will be proudly displayed on Opening Day of 2012.

11u West Bradford Tournament Team – District 28 - 2nd Place After a crushing, opening game loss to CALN, West Bradford found themselves in the dreaded losers bracket. With only a 2 day break, WB moved on to play increasingly tougher competition and to win 5 strait games in 5 strait days, eliminating 5 loser bracket teams including CALN and West Side. West Bradford would now have to face the well rested defending champions – Avon Grove – and have to win twice to take the District 28 title. After a tough game 1 battle, West Bradford fell to Avon Grove 15-9. Avon Grove has further gone to participate in the State Championship.

Baseball players are smarter than football players. How often do you see a baseball team penalized for too many men on the field?" ~Jim Bouton, 1988
