West Allegheny Youth Wrestling: Welcome

WELCOME TO THE 2011-2012 WEST ALLEGHENY YOUTH WRESTLING WEBSITE

We will be hosting a home match on Saturday January 21.  We will need everyone’s participation in order to make this a successful match.  If you have not already signed up to work or to bring an item for the concession stand, please see a board member.

 We have WinterStorm t-shirts on sale for $7.  Please see a board member if you are interested in purchasing one.

Nominations for next year’s board are now being accepted.  If you are interested in nominating someone for President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, New parent liaison, Concessions, Equipment manager, or Tournament director, please send an email to Vicky. 

Set up meetings for the matches are held the Monday BEFORE the match.  If your son will not be wrestling in the upcoming match, please contact Dan Miller at (412) 592-4338 before Monday evening to let him know. Also, if something changes between the set-up meeting and the match, please contact Dan Miller. A lot of time goes into setting up matches and your cooperation is very much appreciated.

Practice is as follows:

     Beginner (first and second year)    Tuesdays           6:30 - 7:30

                                                             Thursdays        6:30 - 7:30

     Advanced (third year and above)     Mondays           6:30 - 8:00

                                                              Tuesdays          7:30 - 8:30

                                                               Wednesdays     6:30 - 8:00
