VARSITY JAMBOREE SCHEDULE SET
Varsity will play in the STL Jamboree Saturday, March 7th at AB Soccer Park in Fenton. All Varsity players need to be at field no later than 7:30 am. Game times are: 8am vs. Parkway N, 9am vs. Webster, 10:30am vs. Fox, and 12 noon vs. Eureka. Coach will let players know who made Varsity this week at practice.
SCOREKEEPERS NEEDED
Wentzville Lacrosse is in need of scorekeepers for the upcoming season. We will train people at the Jamboree on March 7th. Please call John Klein if you are able to help. 314-724-5839
UNIFORMS HANDED OUT MARCH 5TH
Team Uniforms will be handed out after practice on March 5th. All players must have all paperwork and dues turned in to recieve thier uniform.
PLAYERS TEXT MESSAGES
All players with text messaging on your cell phones can receive team messages by texting "Team5291" (No quotation marks) to 51684. This will set your phone up to receive team messages. This service is for players only. We will also put out a voice message to all players cell phones. Parents, a wvm. email will be sent to your email you provided on the registration form. We apologize but the system only allows 1 email address per player. Players with 2 sets of parents are going to need to relay information. We will also try to put information on this web site, so please check it often.

Plans are currently underway for the 2009 season. We are in the process of putting together our schedule and setting the budget for the upcoming season. What can you do to help?---Parents are needed to fill Board positions...You must be willing to volunteer time for meetings and fullfill the resposibilities of your position. Players we need you to start recruiting players grades 8 - 12. Get your friends interested by showing them how to throw and catch. All players should begin conditioning NOW (Don't wait for practice to start) Begin running on your own or in groups. And play WALL BALL as much as possible.

SPORTS UPDATE...HOTLINE MESSAGING SERVICE
A message hotline has been set up to advise players and parents of any schedule changes or any messages that need to get out to the club. When a message is sent out, it will send a prerecorded message from the club to the players cell phone or home number. (depending on the # you provided) It will also send a .wav message to the parents email address. You must have your speakers turned up to hear the message. If the message goes into voice mail it will begin playing when it detects a pause in the line. So if you have a long greeting you may not hear the message. The latest message will always be available on the HOTLINE by dialing 314-293-0232, press 1, then our mailbox # (5291) or just remember LAX1. It would be a good idea to program this phone # into your cell phone. Check the HOTLINE daily for the latest team information. We will also try to post messages on the web site as well. If you have equipment for sale please email "Description of equipment and the price you want(eg.
