Bantams Win Wallaceburg Tournament

The Iafrate Machine, Welland Mustangs Bantam Baseball Team were recent winners of the Wallaceburg Bantam Baseball Tournament.

Welland went undefeated in pool play against teams from Belle River, Sarnia, Mitchell and host team Wallaceburg. The Mustangs met up with also undefeated Kitchener from their pool in the final.

The Mustangs defeated the AAA Kitchener team 4-1 in 7 complete innings to earn the Championship Trophy and Medals.

Welland next travels on July 3rd and 4th to Rochester N.Y. to play in the Can-Am Series. Go Mustangs !!
