weight lifting

ive heard a few different things, so if you know for sure i'd appreciate a respons.
is it good or bad for you to use a hot tub before or after weight lifting, because i've heard from quite a few people that it causes your muscles to not attach right or somethin. and if it is bad, would it be bad to use a sauna also.

what!?
Hot tub is good after a workout as is a sauna. The higher temps, increase growth hormone realese post workout. Plus sweating in a sauna helps to relieve the body of excess free radicals(Zinc, Aluminum, and Chromium), it also gives your kidneys a break.
I wouldnt go in a jacuzzi before workout though, your muscles would get too loose, and wouldnt be able to provide maximum contraction, it might be beneficial to apply heat to the antagonist of the muscle you plan to workout
