Troubleshooting

Where does the image associated to a Facebook post get pulled from?

If a news article, game or event has an image associated to it, Facebook will attempt to use that image. If no image is associated to the news article, game or event, eteamz will display a news, score or event icon.

Sometimes Facebook has trouble pulling images from the page due to network traffic, etc. as they are being pulled in real-time. If Facebook is unable to pull the image, eteamz will display a news, score or event icon.

Why is the HTML from my news headlinenot displaying on Facebook?

Facebook will render simple HTML from news headlines (for example, HTML that modifies the font size or color). More complicated HTML will not be picked up by Facebook and will result in blank links. In order to get to your news item, the Facebook user would have to click the image or icon on the Facebook post.

Troubleshooting

Why don't all of my news items contain the "Like" functionality on my eteamz site(s)?

How can I find all of my news items in eteamz so that I can add the "Like" functionality to them?

All news items should be located in the news section of your eteamz admin. You or another webmaster for your site may have renamed your news folder. To check this, go to My Site Design>Labels to see what the My Site News menu was changed to. Make sure you are choosing the correct news category from the dropdown menu on the upper right hand side of the news page.
