Customizable Templates Frequently Asked Questions

You can customize nearly every section! Above the left menu, add your team logo or colors, and upload a banner to the right of the logo. You can then customize the colors and fonts of the menu, toolbar, footer, and page header. Modify the center content area by adding a background image and changing the colors and fonts. You can now even add colors and images to provide a border around your main site!

You may change the Logo within the Customize section of your Site Appearance folder. Select the Logo category at the top of the page. Select the "upload a new one" link. If you have previously uploaded images they will display here for selection. Or, browse for an image on your computer for upload by clicking "browse", selecting an image, and then clicking "upload". Select "apply" to add the image to your site then "save changes" in the upper right. Once your Logo is applied, you may adjust its position by clicking on the image and moving. Here, you can also use the microscope icons to zoom the image in and out. Note that it may affect the clarity of the image.

If you decide to remove the Logo, select "no image" within the "choose an image" drop down field. To use the default image on the template, select "default" within the "choose an image" drop down field.

Always click "save changes" in the upper right after making edits.

You may change your Menu Text and Toolbar colors of the templates within the Customize section of your Site Appearance folder. Select the Menu category at the top of the page. Select the color box under the Menu and/or Toolbar headings. Select the appropriate color using the color viewer. Once satisfied with your color selections, click "save changes" in the upper right side of the page.

You may change the Content and Title Colors within the Customize section of your Site Appearance folder. Select the Content category at the top of the page. Select the color box under the Content and/or Title headings. Select the appropriate color using the color viewer. Once satisfied with your color selections, click "save changes" in the upper right side of the page.

This image will appear behind the content in the center well of your eteamz site. You can either make it a single image or enable it to repeat across the area.

You may change the Background Color within the Customize section of your Site Appearance folder. Select the Content category at the top of the page. Select the color box next to the Background Color field. Select the appropriate color using the color viewer. Once satisfied with your color selection, click "save changes" in the upper right side of the page.

Always click "save changes" in the upper right after making edits.

Yes, any image that you have uploaded and is in your library will be available to use. The previous eteamz library of images will no longer be available. However, if there is an image from the eteamz library that did not transfer and that you would like to keep, please email Customer Support with the name of the image.

You will be able to select any customizable template, including one that looks just like your enhanced template. Once you are on the new template system, you will not be able to access your previous site template.

No - changing your template settings will ONLY change the appearance of your site. It will not change any schedules, rosters, site news, etc. If you are on a Classic Template, the width of the content well will shrink to better fit your screen (your content will all be available through a scrollbar).

In the new site templates, these features are now located within the Customize section of the Admin Site Appearance folder.

To use an image from one template on a different template, first select the template with the image that you like. In the preview pane, right hand click on the image. Select "Save image as...". Save the image to your desktop. Then, select the template that you prefer to use and upload the image in whichever location you would like for it to appear.

This can occur due to a number of reasons:

1. You have a free site (you can upgrade at anytime within your PLUS folder in Admin).
2. You are a sub-site of a League or Organization and the administrator has locked the features.
3. The template that you've selected has the specific feature locked.

Your resolution is too low. Change to a higher resolution for better viewing. This can be changed by going to the Control Panel on your computer then Display (note that it could be different on your computer depending on the type that you have). Select Settings to change. A common screen resolution is 1024x768.

Yes, as a League/Org administrator you may set the sub-sites colors, images, and templates in the Customize section of your Site Appearance folder. Select the League/Sponsor category. Put a check mark next to "Apply to all Sub-sites" then "save changes." All sub-sites will now have the same template, images, and colors as the League/Org. Once you select this option, there is no way to undo!

Yes, as a League/Org administrator you may set the Logo that displays in the lower left side of your site, within the Customize section of your Site Appearance folder. Select the League/Sponsor category. Uncheck the box next to "Sub-sites can change the League/Sponsor logo" then "save changes." If you would like your sub-sites to have the ability to select their own Logo to display in the lower left side of the page, simply check that box then "save changes."

Use the microscope icons next to the Logo and/or Banner to zoom in or zoom out to see your entire image.

Always click "save changes" in the upper right after making edits.

You may remove the hit counter from display within the Customize section of the Admin Site Appearance folder. Select the General category, change the selection to "off" then "save changes" in the upper right.
