eteamz has partnered with OpenSRS to become a reseller of custom domains and custom email services. eteamz supports the domain and email services for our customers.

Purchasing

Where can I purchase a custom domain and email service through eteamz?

To purchase an eteamz/OpenSRS domain, please visit your My Account/PLUS folder on your eteamz admin site.

Do I need to have a custom domain through eteamz before I can purchase the email service?

Yes, you must have an eteamz custom domain through OpenSRS before you can purchase the custom email addresses. You can also purchase a domain and the emails at the same time through eteamz.

If you purchased a custom domain through eteamz prior to February of 2010, please contact Hover (www.hover.com) to inquire about email addresses for your domain.

To purchase an eteamz/OpenSRS domain, please visit your My Account/PLUS folder on your eteamz admin site.

If you have a custom domain through another registrar and would like to transfer it to eteamz, please contact your current domain registrar to unlock the domain and acquire an authorization code (eteamz does not require an authorization code). After your domain is unlocked, contact eteamz support at eteamzplussupport@active.com to request the transfer.

What is OpenSRS?

OpenSRS is a wholesale domain reseller company that eteamz has partnered with to sell quality domain products to our customers. They belong to the parent company Tucows, Inc. which has been a trusted name online since 1994.

I already have a domain and email. How can I attach it to my eteamz site?

If you have a custom domain through another registrar and would like to transfer it to eteamz, please contact your current domain registrar to unlock the domain and acquire an authorization code (eteamz does not require an authorization code). After your domain is unlocked, contact eteamz support at eteamzplussupport@active.com to request the transfer.

If you wish to point your existing eteamz/OpenSRS domain to a different eteamz site, we can do that to – just send us an email with the request.

How do I purchase the email service?

If you have an eteamz domain or are in the process of buying one, you will have the ability to purchase custom emails in your My Account/PLUS folder on your eteamz admin site.

Why do I not have the ability to purchase the email service?

An OpenSRS domain that was purchased through eteamz after February of 2010 is required in order to purchase the email service. If you believe that you do have a domain that fits this criteria, please contact eteamzplussupport@active.com with details and we will investigate the issue.

Pricing and Features

How much does an eteamz custom domain cost?

Custom domains are sold for the annual price of $14.95. Domain privacy can be purchased for an additional $9.95 a year.

How much does the email service cost?

eteamz currently offers up to 5 email addresses for $29.95 a year (which is equivalent to $2.50 a month!).

What is included in the cost of the service?

Included in the service is 5 email addresses (with 5 separate email boxes), virus and spam protection, and 5GB of storage.

How many different email addresses can I get for one domain?

At this time, eteamz offers up to 5 email addresses per domain. If you are interested in more email addresses or you have any other requests or suggestions, please visit our Feedback forum. We'd love to hear from you!

Will I be able to purchase more than 5 email addresses in the future?

How much email storage do I get?

5GB of storage is included in the purchase price of the email service.

Is there a file limitation for outgoing messages?

This mail service includes a generous 35MB message size allowance for sending large attachments.

Am I protected from viruses and spam?

Yes, the email service comes standard with complete spam and viruses for both inbound and outbound mail

Access

When I purchase the email, what email address (              @yournamehere.com) should I select?

When you purchase the email service, you will start by choosing the "main" email address for the domain. You can choose your name, "coach", "admin", "webmaster" or whatever makes the most sense to you. You can change this later in the admin section of your Webmail.

Where do I access the email service once I've purchased it?

Your Webmail box can be accessed in your site Admin, under My Account/PLUS

What username and password will I use to login?

You will set the username and password to the main account when you purchase the service. Please take note of these credentials at that time. You will use those to login to your Webmail, where you will create usernames and passwords for up to 4 more additional addresses. After these 4 additional emails are created, you can use them to sign in from the Custom Email page as well.

Troubleshooting/Forgot Password

What if I forget my username and password?

If you do not remember your username or password these can be reset by the main admin on the email account (possibly the Head Webmaster of the eteamz site or the person who purchased the email services from eteamz), In your My Account/PLUS, go to Custom Emails and click either Forgot Username? or Forgot Password?

How do I reset my username?

If you are the main admin on the account (you purchased the email service from eteamz) and you do not remember your username, you can request a new one by email in your My Account/PLUS>Custom Email folder in eteamz.

If you are not the main admin on the account, please contact the main admin to reset your username or password.

How do I reset my password?

If you are the main admin on the account (you purchased the email service from eteamz) and you do not remember your password, you can request a new one by email in your My Account/PLUS>Custom Email folder in eteamz.

What happens when my domain expires or doesn't renew?

The email service is dependent on the domain, so if the domain expires or doesn't renew, you won't be able to access your mailbox until the domain is restored. Your domain should renew automatically unless you have set the renewal to discontinue. If you are experiencing difficulties accessing your domain or email service, please contact eteamz support at eteamzplusupport@active.com.

Email Service Administrators

If the eteamz Head webmaster changes for the site, how can the new Head webmaster gain control of the domain?

The new Head Webmaster can take over the payment by visiting their My Account/PLUS folder, clicking Full Details and clicking Take over Payment next to the email service. If there is any problem with the transfer of information from the old Head Webmaster to the new, please contact eteamz support at eteamzplussupport@active.com.
