Profile: Larry Harmon is beginning his 5th year as the Team Chaplin for the Lions Football Squad. He is the Senior Pastor at West Acres Baptist Church in Evans. He is a native of Mount Vernon, Kentucky. Larry is not a stranger to athletics, while in High School he was a standout Basketball player. He also played Basketball for his alma mater Cumberland College and later graduated from from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Dallas.
He is responsible for game day devotionals and has become someone the players turn to for spiritual guidence.
Larry and his wife Kaye have 3 sons (Jay, Caleb and Luke) and reside in Evans.
