Westchester Del Rey Little League: Coaches Practice Book

How to use practice scheduler:

1- Click link above (Practice Scheduler 2009)

2- Input password provided to you by Little League

3- Click the date you would like to have practice (The actual number of the day)

4- Locate the "OPEN" field or Cage and corresponding time slot and click the "Edit" tab on right.

5- Erase "OPEN"

6- Type in team name

7- Click "Replace Event" at the bottom of the page.

VERY IMPORTANT- In the event you need to cancel a practice, please replace your team name with the word "OPEN". If you hit the delete button it deletes the entire slot. If you do, delete it, I will fix it when I can.

After you have done this you will be returned to "Edit" page and will be able to verify your change in the corresponding Time & Field slot. In the top lefthand corner you will be able to go back to the calendar by clicking the "View Calendar" link.

** AS SOON AS YOU REPLACE THE EVENT AN EMAIL WILL BE SENT TO THE LEAGUE PRESIDENT, PLEASE DO NOT REPLACE ANOTHER TEAMS EXSISTING PRACTICE, WE WILL HAVE A RECORD OF IT**

RESERVATION POLICIES

1) Except for T-Ball, teams may reserve Arial, Center, West and the batting cage. T-Ball teams may reserve only Center or West and may not reserve the batting cage.

2) Junior, Major, Minor and Mini teams can reserve the batting cage ONCE per calendar week. You may NOT reserve the Cage AND any field ON THE SAME DAY.

3) The batting cage slot is available once the game on Mace has begun. If a game is scheduled on Mace, the home team always has priority to use the batting cage during the 30 minutes before the game. If your batting cage time overlaps with that 30 minute period, you must vacate the cage if requested by the home team.

4) Practice under Lights - Remember that the lights cost money to operate! If you schedule an evening practice slot and then decide to cancel, notify Bill Kinsella or Raul Roch so that the lights will not be wasted and turned off.

5) Reservations are on the honor system. We reserve the right to adjust the schedule if it appears any team is reserving more than their "fair share".
