**Remote Weigh In**

Satellite Weigh In for the Germantown Academy Tourney will be held at Church Farm School where West Chester Youth Wrestling Home meets are held. Thursday evening 12/3 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Wrestlers who weigh in there are welcome to stay and wrestle at our practice.

Practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-8:00pm at Church Farm School unless otherwise noted (such as holidays).

 **If your son participated last year in the Advanced Practice, which was and still is by coach invite, we will be starting that up again beginning 11/18/09 from 6:30-8:30pm at CFS.  We realize some of the boys are still playing football and other sports that have not concluded but, if they are available, please have them there.  If you were not part of the Advanced Practice last year and think your son should be considered, please speak to one of our coaches at practice.**

We are looking forward to welcoming back our repeat wrestlers as well as the new wrestlers this season.

Here is our Saturday team meet schedule.  Times and directions will be made available in the next few weeks:

1/9/10 - Away at Interboro with Chichester
1/16/10 - Home against Neshaminy and Lower Merion
1/23/10 - Away at Great Valley with Upper Moreland and Hatboro-Horsham
1/30/10 - Away at Conestoga with Norchester
2/6/10 - Home against Downingtown and Springfield
2/13/10 - Away against Brandywine Youth with North Penn
2/20/10 - Home against Phoenixville and Boyertown

We will also be creating a section with tournament information so you can easily find out information on the open and novice tournaments in the area.

The 2009-2010 season is about to kick off!  Registration and first practice dates have been set... 

The mission of WCYWA is to provide the youth of West Chester Area with a positive wrestling experience that is both enjoyable and safe. WCYWA emphasizes participation, progress and sportsmanship – not wins and losses. This philosophy is expected of all wrestlers, parents and coaches. WCYWA instructs the young wrestlers according to their level. Beginning wrestlers will be taught the building blocks of the sport. More advanced wrestlers will be challenged according to their ability at a more serious level.
