Select Baseball "How-To" Document for FAQ’s
Spring Season
· Money and paperwork due in FULL by 5:00pm on February 15. Rosters must be finalized prior to the first recreational league tryout.
· 12-15 game regular season with end of season single elimination play-off
· $1050 per team
· The WCYBS Open League is open to any USSSA registered team.
· All teams must register with USSSA. Go to http://www.usssa.com and follow the steps provided.
· All teams must be covered by insurance and be able to provide proof. One option is available through USSSA at wwwhttp://www.usssa.com/sports/. Click on Insurance and follow the steps provided.
· All checks must be made payable to WCYBS.
· Teams will be required to submit the following items on the designated registration days :
1. Completed WCYBS league registration form including the completed medical release section for each player on your roster.
2. Printout of your USSSA on-line roster
3. Proof of team insurance.
4. Verification of birth date for each player on your roster ( birth certificate).
5. Check for amount due to WCYBS.
· Coaches are responsible for obtaining the following :
1. Uniforms
2. Equipment
3. Scheduling field time with the 12U Coordinator for practice time
All players and additions to your roster must first be approved by the WCYBS VP of Baseball.
