Alan Epley
1999-2001
Alan has been the Economic and Finance Committee expert for Waverly's Model UN team over the past couple of years. Mr. Epley won numerous awards at the different conferences he attended where he was on the award winning (Best Overall) delegation from Mali both at MSMUN and UTHSMUN. The one word that comes to mind when one looks at Alan is "confidence." This trait has been exhibited by Alan in both committee and General Assembly and led to his Best Delegate award in ECO FIN during the 2001 conference at Rhodes.

Daniel Alexander

Daniel started his tenure with WCHS Model UN his Sophomore year when he attended the Mid South Model UN at Rhodes College. He was a Disarmament delegate for Israel that first conference. Memphis proved to be an interesting town for Daniel that year due to the fact that he was called before the Security Council. Daniel did a great job with it then and then continued on a path of Model UN excellence. The majority of his time has been spent with Disarmament, but he also served on the Security Council where he received recognition for his portrayal of Mali during his rookie term on S.C. Daniel has also won numerous awards at each of the conferences he has attended. He also served as Head Delegate a number of times and helped WCHS Model UN secure its first Honorable Mention delegation at Rhodes in 2000, Best Overall Delegation at Rhodes in 2001, and Best Overall Delegation at Knoxville in 2001.
Ginger Shupe
2002-2003
The evidence was there from the beginning that Ginger was an outstanding delegate. She was only able to participate in Model UN her senior year. She attended three conferences and received individual awards at each of them. A feat that has never been accomplished by any other Model UNer at WCHS. Ginger also was part of the delegation of South Africa at the 2003 MSMUN that received Second Place Overall Delegation honors. Ginger also served on three different committees while she was a delegate. These were Disarmament, Working Group on AIDS, and the Ad Hoc Commission on the Status of Women.
Ginger plans on attending George Washington University where she will serve in their Naval ROTC program and pursue a degree in medicine. She plans on becoming a surgeon in the United States Navy.

Lesley Littrell
2000-2002
Lesley started her Model UN experience with WCHS her Junior year. Just in her first year alone she participated on Best Overall Delegation Mali at both MSMUN in Memphis and UTHSMUN in Knoxville. The second year saw Lesley as the Head Delegate for Algeria as she helped lead them to Second Place Overall Delegations at both MSMUN in Memphis and UTHSMUN in Knoxville.
Individual awards for Lesley were many as she served as the Social Humanitarian expert her Junior Year and moved to the Economics and Finance Committee her Senior Year. UTHSMUN was the site of Lesley's first individual honor when she placed in the top three of her respective committee. Every conference Lesley attended her Senior year saw her receive more individual awards. Patrick Compau
1998-2000
Patrick was a standout in his first competitions he attended with WCHS Model UN. The most amazing thing that many took notice of was Patrick's caucusing abilities. Not only did Patrick win many individual awards for his representation of Israel and later Kazakhstan, he was very instrumental in bringing home the Second Place Overall Delegation Award for Kazakhstan at the 2000 MSMUN. Patrick now attends Union University.
Ross Lucas
1998-2000
Ross was among WCHS Model UN's "Charter Members" and was a stand out from the start displaying a number of virtues that any outstanding Model UNer must have; foreign policy knowledge, research and writing skills, caucusing abilities, and leadership. These proved to be beneficial when Ross, as Head Delegate for Kazakhstan lead them to Second Place Overall Delegation at Rhodes in 2000. Ross now attends Vanderbilt University where he serves as Vice President of the Student Body.
Samar Ali
1998-1999
The enthusiasm shown by Samar after she attended Governor's School, where she was first was exposed to Model United Nations was the main reason why Model UN started at WCHS. Samar was one of the first to win Individual Awards for her portrayal of Israel. Through her knowledge and background in Middle Eastern Affairs and Politics, the WCHSMUN team got off to a fast start in their first year. Samar now attends Vanderbilt University where she is President of the Student Body.
