The State Championships have now been rescheduled!  We will compete again on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 13th at 10:30am, and will be bowling back at Smyrna Bowling Center!  The center will be opening on that day ONLY to host the State Tourney!  Day to day regular business should resume within a week or so of the 13th.  The Semi-finals for Division I (our division) will bowl at 10:30am, followed by the semi's for Division II.  Then the Finals will begin at 3:30pm.  Admission for this day will be $10 per person.  Please come cheer for the WC Wildcats & LadyCats as both teams seek a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!

Wilson Central Bowlers...we will be having two more practices to stay sharp for the finals of the State Tournament.  We will practice TUESDAY & THURSDAY, February 9 & 11 at 4:00pm at Hermitage Lanes.  Everyone please make plans to attend, and be on time!!

Kirstin Page is the 2010 Girls Division I Individual State Champion!!!

In winning Wilson Central's first Individual bowling title, Kirstin won 4 of her 6 games in the match-play finals.  Outstanding bowling, Kirstin ~ we are SO proud of you!!  We are also proud of Dani Chaffin, who is only the 3rd WC bowler to make it to the final six bowlers, and finished 6th out of 72 bowlers.  Way to go Kirstin & Danielle!!

Other Season Highlights 

Wilson Central Wildcats join the LadyCats in a return trip to the STATE TOURNAMENT!!  Our boys won 19-8 over Hendersonville to advance for the 2nd year in-a-row.  Congratulations to BOTH teams for your hard work, dedication, and achievement!! 

The WC LadyCats are going back to STATE!!  They defeated a good Hendersonville team today in their Sectional (Sub-state) round at Hermitage by an 18 - 9 score.  Great job, LadyCats!!

Wilson Central Boys & Girls are REGION 5 CHAMPS!  The LadyCats defeated Franklin & Mt Juliet for their 5th straight Region 5 title, while the Wildcats took down Maplewood & Overton for their very FIRST Regional Championship!!  Both teams move on to the Sectional (Sub-state) round.  Awesome job, WC 'Cats!!

Wilson Central's Boys & Girls team's are District 10 Champions!!  The Boys' team soared to a new School Record game of 1402, & a super 3919 series!  Check out the "2009-10 Post Season" page for details on the match.  Way to go, Central!!

J R Clemons & the Wildcat Boys set new School Records today....JR soars to an INCREDIBLE 842 series, on games of 276, 267, & 299!!  JR led the guys to a whopping 3936 total in their 26-1 win over Glencliff.  Our LadyCats were also awesome with a super 3522 series & 27-0 win!

LadyCats soar to new heights with new School Records for game & series, with an unbelieveable 3697 total on games of 1275 - 1211 - 1211!!  We believe this to possibly be a record in the state!!  Awesome job, LadyCats!!
