WBHS CC Dominates 8th Annual Mud Run! This past Saturday, the WBHS CC Team saw huge success in the running of the 8th Annual Mud Run. Titles were won in the following divisions: Mens and Womens Team, Male 19 & Under, Female 19 & Under, Masters Women, and Male Overall. We also saw many Personal Records set by many of our individuals and a great first time showing for the 5 rookie runners that took part in the event. The course definately tested strength over speed! Please check back as more details and pics are to come.
Fundraiser to Take Place This Tuesday. The 1st Annual WBCC 24 Hour Relay will take place this Tuesday (Aug 12th) at the WBHS Track. The Relay will begin at 7am. Please come out to support the team as the go for as many miles as possible. Reminder to please bring: food, drinks, tents, coolers, etc. Please contact Kayleigh or Ryan C if you have any questions. And don't forget to get those Sponsors!
The 2008 Training Season has gotten off to a great start. Camp was a great success this year with our number of attendees up! Pics are now uploaded from camp.
Mid-Summer Time Trial produces record times and lots of smiling faces!
This year's time trial saw three boys break the standing record. With Blake Theroux setting the new record at 9:57 (old record 10:52). Also under the record were Chris Werner (10:03) and George Matais (10:28).
The girls record was also broken by three girls. Kayleigh Lewellyn set the new record of 12:02 (old record 12:19). Natalie Wynn (12:12) and Casey Gresham (12:15) also dipped under the record.
