The Watkins Hornets have a new turf football surface come by and see the new field.
Welcome to the Watkins Hornets Youth Association home of the Hornets. Becoming part of such a wonderful group will be fun and exciting experience for you and your family. As a member of the Watkins Hornets Youth Association (W.H.Y.A.) you will not only be a part of a team, but you will also become a valuable part of the community in which we serve. the Watkins Hornets Youth Association is a goal-oriented organization that would like to introduce both youth and parents to a positive sports program while enriching family and community bonds.
Mission Statement
We are a community based non-profit organization that promotes, provides and encourages youth and their families by creating a positive atmosphere that fosters athletic, academic and social growth.
W.H.Y.A. Staff
The Watkins Hornets Youth Association coaching staff is made up of dedicated volunteers that have been certified through the DC Department of Recreation. Their goal is to promote good sportsmanship while expressing a positive attitude.
