SPRINTS




Perform sprints with various specifications. Sprints are an excellent form of water polo conditioning

-Head up
-Head down (regular freestlye)
-80-100%
-3 strokes on your stomach, three on your back…
-Stop and go(start, swim 4 strokes, stop, reset and start again)
-Sprint halfway, do 3 lunges, sprint the rest of the way

Use various combinations of these sprinting techniques to keep the conditioning interesting. These drills are often used to finish practice and should be adjusted for age and strength levels.
