GOALIE CAGE JUMPS




A great way to build leg strength for goalies is cage lunges. The goalie starts out in the center of the cage and then lunges upward to touch the upper right or left corners of the goal. Alternate between right and left side and be sure to reset in the middle before each lunge. A set of ten is a good amount to work with.
This will work on both strength and goal coverage necessary for blocking shots.
