Congratulations Washoe Hooligans - District 1 Champions
The Washoe Hooligans swept through the District 1 tournament with a perfect 7-0 record, outscoring their opponents 109-2. The championship game was a 10-0 victory over Sparks Centennial. They will be proud to return for opening day 2010 and see their championship sign on the outfield wall.
Congratulations Washoe Renegades - District 1 Runner-Up
The Washoe Renegades made Washoe proud as well with exciting baseball and great sportsmanship. After going 6-0 to reach the championship game, they lost 8-7 to a tough Reno American team.
9-10 All Stars
The 9-10 All Star tournament is being played in Carson City at Governor's Fields beginning July 5th. Governor's Fields are located on Roop Street in south Carson (couple blocks past the Post Office). Here is the Washoe schedule. For a complete schedule, go to the Carson City Little League website.
