Welcome to the Raiders 2013 Season
Dear Parents, friends, and families,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the President of the Washington County Raiders Youth Football organization.
My name is Anthony Piccirilli and I have been involved with this organization in various capacities for several years as an officer, board member, coach and parent.
I would like to thank all the parents, coaches, friends and family members who contribute their time and support of our organization. Without their assistance at the Carnival, Narrragansett Art show, Tag Day, game days and other times throughout the year, this organization would not be able to continue providing a quality youth sports program at an affordable cost.
However, and I do not think I need to tell you all this, running a successful program takes a lot of effort and many hours of volunteer work. Although we receive much support from our board members, parents, friends and families, additional help is always welcome and needed. With new and exciting ventures planned for the upcoming season, I am taking this opportunity to invite any and all of you to actively participate and contribute in any way that you can. We are continuously looking for volunteers at the concession stand, admission gate, and various other duties that are vital to keeping this organization functioning. Please do not be afraid to become involved.
It is my main objective as President to make this season the best it can possibly be for our football players, cheerleaders, and volunteers. In doing so, I would like to emphasize that what we are doing is for the players and cheerleaders -they are the most important part of this organization and we need to work together to ensure that their needs are met.
In conclusion, if you should have any questions or comments, either now or throughout the year, please feel free to contact me at any time. I am positive that if we all work together we can guarantee the most successful season this organization has ever had for everyone involved. Thank you and have a great season. Go Raiders!
