Parent / Guardian Responsibilities
Parents have the following responsibilities:
1. Sign the RHODE ISLAND ASSOCIATION OF PRE-TEEN FOOTBALL Code of Ethics form for the cheerleader/football player as part of the eligibility.
2. Fill out completely and sign the RHODE ISLAND ASSOCIATION OF PRE-TEEN FOOTBALL registration form and pay the registration fees.
3. Provide a copy of the cheerleader’s or football player’s birth certificate as proof of age for all participants as part of eligibility. Photocopies are not accepted by the RI Pre-Teen Association. It must be an original with a seal.
4. Ensure that the football player attends the scheduled RHODE ISLAND ASSOCIATION OF PRE-TEEN FOOTBALL Eligibility Day to be weighed as the third part of eligibility.
5. Ensure that the cheerleader(s) or football player(s) arrives at practice on time, in proper equipment for practice.
6. Ensure that the cheerleader or football player arrives at the game on time, in proper game day equipment.
7. Most of all have fun and watch your child have fun!
8. Volunteer if you can! The Raiders organization is always looking for volunteers as team parents, game day support, help at home games with the gate, concession stand, & the sidelines.
