Club Information

The 2007-2008 Washington Brewers Baseball Club is comprised of 9 teams; one 12 year old team, three 13 year old teams, two 14 year old teams, one 15 year old team, one 16/17 year old team and one 18 year old team. All teams under the sanction of the AABC, playing Sandy Koufax, Mickey Mantle and Connie Mack.

The coaching staff of the Brewers Baseball Club is committed to the development of the players both as players and as people. Keeping the game in perspective helps these future leaders to understand life's priorities. The Brewers Baseball Club stresses the importance of education as well as their development on the field. With a high emphasis placed on the value of team, the players learn the life lesson of how to strive for individual success, while maintaining the more important goal of team success.

The Brewers teach an aggressive approach to baseball. This not only makes the games fun to watch but more fun for the players as well. The coaching staff places as high an emphasis on the mental and emotional development of the player, as they do the physical skills development. They actively teach the strategy of the game and empower the players to make decisions on the field, instead of the coaches making the decisions for them. This teaching style helps them to develop mentally not only as players but as students and people.

Working closely with the parents, The Brewers Baseball Club is committed to developing these fine young people into the leaders of tomorrow.
