REMINDER: Weather Cancellation Policy
Games at Bend Street and Mickey Stevens are covered by the following policy and procedure for cancellations due to weather or field conditions.
First, always check the WSA website if there is inclement weather. We make every attempt to provide updated game or program cancellation information as soon as possible. The quickest, most efficient method is by posting any weather-related announcements on the home page of our web site at www.warwicksoccer.org. Any cancellation announcements or game day changes will be listed directly on our homepage.
The Bend Street and Mickey Stevens complexes are controlled by the Warwick Parks & Recreation Department. The parks department will notify the association when the fields at Bend Street or Mickey Stevens are closed due to weather or field conditions. WSA will make every effort to notify all those involved by posting the information on our web site, mass e-mail to families and by notifying the age level coordinators and coaches.
2010 FALL REC. FIELDS
After discussions with the City of Warwick, WSA has been granted permission to play all of our Instructional Division (U10, U8 and U6) games for the FALL 2010 Recreational Soccer Season at the CONFREDA SPORTS COMPLEX (Bend Street).
As in the past, U15 games will also be played at "Bend Street" while U12 games will be played at the MICKEY STEVEN SPORTS COMPLEX on Sandy Lane.
