Boston Warrior AAU Boy's Basketball: Warrior News: BW 17U North advances all the way to New England Super Regional Semi -Final - Qualify for 17U Nationals

Playing without Akeem Williams, the team was lead by Jasper Grassa and Alex Kershaw  and timely shooting by Derek Retos,  the Boston Warriors North team had a very strong New England Super Regional Tournament and qualifying for the 17U AAU National Tournament in Orlando, FL. 

After going 1-1 in pool play,  the team had big wins over the BW Central and Maine Hoops. This put them in the semi-finals versus defending NH State champion Granite State Jayhawks. In a scoring battle,  the Warriors fell 101- 93.  Dan Brooks and Joey Vasquez slashed to the hoop at will while Ramon Viches and Samir McDaniel were big presense in the paint. Josh Altman hit some big shots and as always, Ernest LaRoche was the defensive stopper.
