BW 17U Blue advances all the way to New England Super Regional Semi -Final (SIlver Medalist) - Qualify for 17U Nationals

Led by Rod Odom and timely shooting by Dan Guadagnoli  and Andrew Gosselin the Boston Warriors Blue team had a very strong New England Super Regional Tournament and qualifying for the 17U AAU National Tournament in Orlando, FL.

After going 1-1 in pool play,  the team had big wins over the CMAC Hawks (2008 State Finalist) and Bay State Magic. This put them in the semi-finals versus defending State Champion BABC. Despite a valient effort the team fell 12 points short.  This gave them the 3rd place finish and a bid to the 2009 AAU National Championship in Orlando, Florida. Drew Levey, Andrew Musler and Khalid McCaskill were consistant forces throughout the weekend.  Tyler Bond and Ousmane Drame clogged the lane and rebounded well and Marcus Papas and Nick Holmes were the first line of defense in holding all the point guards down. Last but not least, Daniel Giovacchini provided overall hustle and hard work to help the team in many ways.
