Anderson & Odom Lead Middlesex to 2 WinsAfter a sluggish start, Middlesex clamped down with stingy defense and showed some swagger in attacking the basket and beat Rivers 45 – 35. This solid play lead to a 9-point Middlesex advantage at the half. Scott Anderson (22 points, 11 boards) and Rod Odom '(11 points, 3 boards, 2 blocks) led the way for Middlesex, with solid overall performances also coming from Chris Woo (4 points, 4 assists) and Mike Hurynowicz (5 points, 5 boards).
Excited to be playing at home, the Middlesex ran the floor and played great defense opening up the game with an 18-2 run on the way to a 83 – 49 win over Dexter. All 11 players got solid minutes for a great time win! Rod Odom finished with 22 points (8-10 shooting) and 5 assists and was a dominant force on both ends of the floor. Captain Scott Anderson also had a solid outing with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Off the bench, Ben Decoteau '11 had his best game of the season with 12 points, and Nick Holmes filled the stat sheet with 10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists.
