2009 Fall Metrowest Preseason Fundamentals Basketball Clinic
Philosophy
We will try to make the clinic fun and enjoyable while stressing that basketball is a game of fundamentals. Fundamentals are the key to success. We encourage any level of play including beginners to join. We will try to dictate the level of instruction to the individual needs of the student. It’s never too early or late to learn.

Steve Harrington
Head Boys Basketball Coach - Watertown High School
Coach Harrington has guided the Red Raiders to eleven straight tournament appearances while compiling 195 wins. Last season the Red Raiders under Coach Harrington’s guidance won their 2nd Division 3 State Championship in 3 years. Two seasons ago (2004-2005) his Watertown team went undefeated in league play and captured The Middlesex League title. Coach Harrington was recognized at the Boston Globe’s Division III Coach of the Year last year (2006-2007) as well for 2002-2003 season. He is regarded s one of the best coaches in the area and has spoken and worked at numerous camps around Eastern Mass.
Mark Papas
Director Boston Warrior AAU Basketball
Coach Papas founded and has made Sudbury Youth Travel Basketball one of the most organized and well-run youth travel programs in the state. Coach Papas also has quickly developed one of the largest & strongest AAU programs in the northeast. In 2009, 13 teams qualified for the AAU National Championships, the most in the Northeast. He is a former letterman at Tufts University.
Tom Sullivan
Head Boys Basketball Coach- Woburn High School
Coach Sullivan has been a fixture at the high school level for the past twenty years. Last season Coach Sullivan guided Woburn High School to it’s first ever Division 2 North Title and a trip to the Fleet Center. In the 90’s Coach Sullivan guided Needham High School to six straight tournament appearances and the last few seasons he has lead the Patriots to back to back tournament appearances. Last season (2006-2007) Coach Sullivan guided the Patriots to the first Dual County League title in 29 years. He is an experienced teacher of the game who is very well respected.

Troy Brown
2nd Round NBA Draft Pick, 10+ Year Professional Basketball Career, Boston Warriors AAU Coach Brown was a 4 year letterman at Providence College and 2nd Round Draft Pick of the Atlanta Hawks.. Troy played part of a season with Hawks and spent 10+ more years playing professional overseas. Coach Brown is a specialist of big man moves. In addition, he is well versed in all the aspects of the game as well as strength and conditioning for basketball.
