2008 Boston Warriors AAU Fall Boys Basketball Tryouts
2008 Boston Warriors AAU Fall Boys Basketball Tryouts
The Boston Warriors AAU Boys Basketball organization would like to announce the 2008 Fall AAU Boys Basketball Tryouts. The Boston Warriors AAU Boys Basketball Program is one of the strongest programs in New England. This past spring we had 13 teams qualify for the AAU National Championships. This past July our 17U team won the Silver Division at the Reebok NJ Summer Classic as well as an outstanding preformance in Orlando at the AAU nationals and the Super Showcase including a win over the team that finish #3 in the nation (SYF Players).

While going to AAU National Championship Tournaments is fun and rewarding, we offer players of all talent level the possible opportunity to play competitive fall basketball. We will provide very good coaching including a lot of skill work with real practices. In the fall,  we will offer the program from ages 12 and under (6th grade) to 17 and under (12th grade).  For the fall season, in general the commitment would be one practice a week and a game on Sunday evenings. Also, we may add one or 2 weekend tournaments.

In addition, we will offer a 5 week fundamentals clinic for players from grades 2 – 9. This is separate from the fall AAU program.   This is a great program to work on your fundamentals and get ready for the winter and spring seasons.  If you want more information on this program, please email us at asfig@comcast.net. The fall tryouts will take place on Sunday August 30 and Sunday September 7 at Waltham High School.  Here are the tryout times:

12U (6th grade) 5:00

13U (7th grade) 5:00
14U (8th grade)
6:15
15U (9th grade)
6:15
16U (10th grade) 7:30
17U (11th & 12th grade)
7:30

The fall player registration form is below. If possible, all players should pre-register by sending their registration form and tryout fee to us ASAP.  All players should be at both tryouts.  If you can not make either one (or both) of the tryouts, please contact us ASAP.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at (email) Asfig@comcast.net or (call) us at 978-460-2122.
