Welcome to the website of the Wappingers Crew Club
WCC will begin its 6th season in Spring ’10. We are a parent supported Wappingers Central School District club, competing in Scholastic Regattas with other schools in the Hudson Valley. Students are from John Jay and Roy C Ketcham High Schools, as well as from Van Wyck and Wappingers Junior High Schools. Our Head Coach is Laura Ladd from Mid Hudson Rowing. Pat Hancock, Biology Teacher at JJHS & RCK is the Boys Varsity Coach. Laura Ladd and Gretchen Fitzgerald from Mid-Hudson Rowing coach the Novice girls and Trevor Greenstone, WCC Alumni coaches Novice Boys. Joining us new this year will be Susan Nerf as our Varsity Girls coach, and Danielle Lacolla as our JV coach.
