WALTON SOCCER PLAYERS
There will be a mandatory boys soccer meeting Wednesday, October 7th. Boys may attend one of two meetings; either 7:45 in the morning or 12:50 in the afternoon. Both meetings will take place in the gym lobby.

Attention all soccer players. If you are interested in trying out for the Walton soccer team, please plan to attend the informational meeting. This meeting should answer all of your questions concerning the tryout process.

WALTON SUMMER SOCCER CAMP!
It's time to sign up for Walton High School Summer Soccer Camp!
Available for future Walton soccer players in grades 2 thru 8, this camp will focus on overall skills that players will need in order to play high school soccer.

SHINGUARD NOTICE!
Beginning with the 2008-09 high school soccer season, shinguards must meet the National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE) standard. This risk-minimization rule was passed two years ago for implementation in 2007-08; however, the start-up was delayed one year to allow manufacturers another year to supply these types of shinguards to local equipment suppliers. Seems that, among other things, players who do not have the proper shinguards can be penalized. In order to ensure that our high school players have the right shinguards, we have contacted Sean Camay at SG soccer. He has these shinguards in stock and is offering the Walton players, a 10% discount on the shinguards. Please get your shinguards as soon as possible.
