When does the season begin?Opening Day is expected to be April 12th, 2010 for most divisions. Younger age divisions are likely to begin a week or two later.

What type of type of baseball is played in each division?
The following describes the type of baseball played in each division:
5 year olds - T-Ball
6 year olds - Combination Coach Pitch/T-Ball
7 year olds - Machine Pitch/T-Ball
8 year olds - Machine Pitch
9 year olds - Kid Pitch
10/11/12 year olds - Minor & Major Leagues
13/14 year olds - Junior League Baseball Division
15/16 year olds - Senior League Baseball Division
17/18 year olds - Big League Baseball Division
Note: Softball is not available.
In what age division should I enroll my child?
The online registration process will automatically place your child in the correct division according to his birthdate. It is very important that you use accurate birthdate information during the initial registration process.

What type of tryouts and/or drafts are held?
For ages 5 thru 9, each team is selected by a random draft according to the school attended by each child.
For ages 10 thru 18, each team is selected by a tryout/draft based upon a third party baseball expert and coaches assessment.
Who is my child's coach?
Coaches will be determined when registration is nearly complete, and those selected will be notified by the League VP for the age they will be coaching. Parents/Players will be notified by the coach once the drafts are completed and the teams are set.
What team will my child play on?
Teams are selected at random by the coaches at the coaches meetings. There is no assurance that the team name will be the same as last year. We have a short list of team names which are selected from the most popular MLB teams.
When and where are practices held?
Practice times and locations are up to the individual coaches of each team. Generally speaking, most divisions will hold 1 or 2 practices a week during the season. Practices may or may not be held at WCLL, depending on field availability. Coaches wishing to schedule practice time on WCLL fields MUST contact the League VP for the age division of their team. Practice times will only be allowed on a pre-scheduled basis.
When are games held?
Games will generally be scheduled for one weeknight, and one Saturday game per team. Games will not be scheduled on Sunday, except in the case of rainout makeups. There are some divisions that have an abbreviated season. For details on the schedule for the upcoming season, check this web site often for updates.
How do All-Stars work?
The 9's and up have All-Star teams who compete against other teams in the district.
The Major League All Star team has the chance to go to the Little League World Series.
The Managers/Coaches of the teams that win a division will be the coaches of their respective All-Star team.

What are the WCLL Park Rules?
- Please keep in mind that we do not allow alcohol, smoking, or any other form of tobacco ANYWHERE in the WCLL complex.
- Pets are not allowed. Please inform your guests. This is for the safety of all who visit WCLL as well as the pet and pet owner. Per our insurance, we are not liable for any accident involving pets. You will be asked to remove your pet from the park.
- Skates, Heely's, bikes and scooters (including motorized) are not to be ridden through the park. If you arrive at the park with these items, we ask that you walk them through for your safety as well as the safety of others.
- Handicap parking is for those with State issued tags. Your vehicle will be towed at your expense if you choose to park in these designated spots without a proper tag.
- Trash should be picked up after each game. Teams are required to clean their dugout after each game and we ask that spectators do the same by picking up any trash they have in the stands. We will do our best to make trash bins accessible and in return, we ask that you help keep WCLL clean.
In case of an emergency is a defibrillator available?
Yes! It's located in the West concession stand. In the event of an emergency, please ask for the WCLL Officer of the Day, who will have access to the defibrillator.
