SWIM TEAM HOLIDAY PARTY
The Wallingford Dolphins Holiday Party has been moved to Saturday, December 13th from 6:00 - 8:30 pm at the YMCA.
In case you are new to the team, here is a little information about the party. Parents get to drop their children off at the YMCA at 6:00 (sign-in sheet) as the party is for the swimmers only. The YMCA is closed to public and the children have use of the gymnasium, pool and racquetball courts. The coaches play games with the kids and parent volunteers organize the food. Since the party is on the same day as a swim meet this year and the kids may not feel much like swimming again, it was decided to offer a movie in the pool area...kids are invited to bring floats to lay on while watching a holiday movie. The children always have a blast at this party!
Pizza and paper goods will be provided by the team and each swimmer is asked to bring the item that is assigned to their practice group:
Squad - baked goods or healthy snack
Purple 1 - case of single serving size soft drinks, i.e., soda, powerade
Purple 2 - case of water bottles
Juniors - case of single serving size chips or pretzels or doritos...
Seniors - baked good or healthy snack
Please R.S.V.P. to Debbie Papale at debbieasp@sbcglobal.net to let her know if your swimmer/swimmers will be attending the party. To make it a little easier for Debbie to get through all of the responses, please put your swimmer's name and yes or no in the subject line...this way she will not have to open the email. (Therefore, please don't write anything in the body of the message because she won't see it.)
