Dear Warwick American Little League Parents and Families:
The W.A.L.L. Board of Directors (Board) is excited about the start of the 2009 baseball season on Opening Day Saturday, April 18, 2009. The Board’s mission is first and foremost to deliver an excellent player experience. Additionally, we are dedicated to reflect the Little League Mission; “Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, the Little League program assists youth in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being.” As indicated in the official Little League symbol, we need to strive to instill the virtues of character, courage and loyalty in order to develop model citizens. Developing superior athletes is certainly an important goal; however we can not lose sight of the bigger goal of developing superior members of the community.
The Open Board Meeting scheduled forMonday May 18th has been cancelled.
It has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 28 at 6:00 p.m.
2009 AA/AAA/Majors schedule is listed under the "hand out" section and will also be posted at Boyd field
