2006 LL Baseball State Tournaments 9-10 Centralia representing District 3 Sat 7/15 - Centralia 9, D7-West Seattle 8 Sun 7/16 - D10-Auburn 7, Centralia 2 Tues 7/18 - Eastlake 10, Centralia 1 D-10's Auburn won 9-10 state championship. Eastlake 2nd. Centralia's two losses came at the hands of the first and second place teams in the tournament. ------------------- 10-11 Aberdeen representing District 3 at Shoreline, WA Sat 7/22 D7-West Seattle 4, Aberdeen 1 Mon 7/24 Aberdeen 11, D4-Cascade 5 Wed 7/26 Woodinville West 18, Aberdeen 3 D-10's Kent won 10-11 state championship. Woodinville West 2nd. --------------------- 11-12 (Major) at Oak Harbor Centralia representing District 3 Sat 7/22: Centralia 3, D12-Greater Richland 1 Centralia pitcher Andrew Pullin threw a 1 hitter and hit a HR Sun 7/23: Centralia 5, D6-Highlands 3 Andrew Pullin for Centralia hit his second home run in as many days. Wed 7/26: Centralia 4, D2-East Jefferson 1 Andrew Pullin pitched complete game and hit his third home run in 3 games. Sat 7/29 10am: D10-Kent 5, Centralia 3 Winner's bracket Final Sat 7/29 1pm: Centralia 3, D1-Mill Creek 2 Andrew Pullin, pitcher from Centralia hit 2 home runs (5 HR in 5 games) and held Mill Creek to 2 runs, with some great defensive help, to pull out the victory and advance to the Championship Game Sunday at 1:00 PM against Kent. Sun 7/30 1pm: D-10 Kent 10, Centralia 2 Kent wins state championship and advances to Northwest Regionals. Centralia took 2nd at state. ------------------- 13-14 (Junior) at Peter Kirk Park, Kirkland (District 9 hosting) Nisqually Basin represented District 3 Sat 7/15: Nisqually Basin 12, D7-Rainier Dist of Seattle 3 NB pitchers Randy Rash 4 1/3ip, Kevin Volesky 2/3ip NB hitting: Randy Rash 3/3 Thomas Shorts 2/3 Kevin Volesky 2/3, double Nathan Couch 2/4 Williams Pomares 2/3 Sun 7/16: D1-Sky Valley 5, Nisqually Basin 4 NB pitcher: Kevin Volesky 7ip NB hitting: Randy Rash 2/4 Kevin Volesky 2/3 Nathan Couch 2/4 Mon 7/17: D11-Friday Harbor 9, Nisqually Basin 5 NB pitchers: Henry McNinch 2ip, Nathan Couch 5ip NB hitting: Kyle Thomson 2/4 Nathan Couch 2/4 Donnie Wilcox 2/2 D4-Cascade won the championship game 4-0 over D10-Federal Way and advances to Regionals. District 2's East/South Jefferson/Port Townsend team took 2nd.
