Vernon Youth Soccer Scholarship Information, 

Vernon Youth Soccer will award two (2) $500.00 scholarships for use during the academic year 2009-10, according to the following criteria established by the Vernon Youth Soccer Scholarship Committee:

1. The applicant must be a graduating VTHS senior a resident of Vernon, and a 2-year 
     participant in both the VYS AND VTHS soccer programs.

 2. Funds must be used exclusively for tuition during the academic year immediately following
     the award.

 3. Applicant must submit the following before the May 1, 2010 deadline to the address that
     appears on the scholarship form: 
     A. Completed application 
     B. Proof of acceptance from post-secondary institution 
     C. Typed cover letter written by applicant that states the following:
         Career objective, and how the educational institution’s program of study will assist the
         applicant to reach that career objective; Applicant’s achievements in VTHS’s soccer
         program Applicant’s achievements and accomplishments in VYS, eg, number of years
         playing in-town or travel, volunteer work such as ref, soccer day, assistant coach, etc.
 
     D. Letter of recommendation from a former coach.

         Incomplete/late packages will not be considered.

Items must be submitted together by the May 1, 2010 deadline, NO EXCEPTIONS !!
