INTOWN GAMES & PRACTICES
INTOWN RECREATION PROGRAM GAMES & PRACTICES SEASON:

PRACTICES: Are subject to coach and field availability. Practices are usually held Monday thru Friday and usually start around dinner time, when coaches arrive home from work. Which day of the week your coach chooses is usually based on his or her own availability. VYS does encourage coaches to rotate the day of the week if possible. VYS encourages coaches to have a least one practice per week. Practices should continue till day light savings time ends in the last week of October. Practices are not mandatory, but are highly encouraged.

GAMES: Approximately ninety percent of our games are played on a Saturday. The other ten percent could be a weeknight or possibly on a Sunday if we have a particularly rainy or snowy season. All games are usually played in the afternoon, except the U14 leagues, which play in the morning. Intown games will be played in light to medium rain. Games will be cancelled in heavy downpours, or if lightning and/or thunder are present. Games will be cancelled if field conditions are considered unsafe. Coaches are highly encouraged to make-up cancelled games. Players MUST notify their coaches if they cannot attend a scheduled game.

NOTE: Length of the season, number and times of practices, and number and times of games are subject to change and are not guaranteed. This program is run entirely by volunteers. Please consider volunteering in some capacity.
