Vernon Youth soccer is seeking volunteers to fill the following positions. If you would like to be considered please submit your name, position of interest and contact information to vernonsoccer@hotmail.com.
Referee Director
Coordinate student referee assignments for Saturday games. Make weekly schedules; director does not need to be an expert on soccer rules !
NON-BOARD OF DIRECTORS POSITIONS
Rules & Procedures Committee:
A group of diverse VYS members to create a rules and procedures handbook who could meet independently and report to the Board of Directors.
Annual Budget Committee:
Create an annual budget for VYS. Financial experience is helpful
Disciplinary Committee:
Parent representati ve and a Coach representative: One Parent and one coach to complete the diversity of the Disciplinary Committee. Must attend all General Membership meetings and may be required to attend special or Board Meetings.
Picture Day Volunteers:
One person to oversee the event and additional volunteers to participate the day of pictures, distribution of pictures to coaches and Sponsor plaques.
Sponsor Committee:
One or more individuals willing to find sponsors and work with the Registrar in collecting sponsorship money. Oversee distribution of sponsorship plaques.
Tournament Committee:
Individuals to research beginning a VYS tournament.
Unaffiliated Parent

While we do use the building we are NOT affiliated with the PAL.
