Vernon Youth Soccer Board Nominating Committee The Vernon Youth Soccer Board Nominating Committee is currently accepting nominations for the below Board positions. Nominations will be accepted through December 12 and will be voted on at the December 17th general meeting. To submit a nomination please send an e-mail to vernonsoccer@hotmail.com stating name and position nominating for. Nominations will be posted on web site at end of nomination period. LOCATION: VERNON HIGH SCHOOL TURF FIELDDATES: NOVEMBER 15TH AND 22ND TIMES: NOVEMBER 15TH 2 PM GIRLS, 3:30PM BOYS NOVEMBER 22ND 2 PM BOYS, 3:30 GIRLS (PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY FOR REGISTATION) If it's raining tryouts will be in the High school Gym, please no cleats must bring indoors or sneakers. New Jersey's Protective Sport Glasses Law As of 7/11/06 New Jersey state law requires participants in youth sports who wear eyeglasses now need to wear PROTECTIVE SPORT GLASSES while playing sports. With the enactment of this law your child will not be allowed to participate in the Vernon recreation or travel programs while wearing eyeglasses. Please see your eye doctor now!
Blood Drive in honor of Glenn Bartsch Family and friends, along with the American Red Cross, will host a Blood Drive in honor of Glenn Bartsch. Glenn is a long time resident of Vernon, NJ and father of five children. See attached Handout.
