Welcome to Vermont District 4 --  Special Thanks to all host sites, tournament directors, umpires, and others who helped our District complete over 100 games in 3 weeks.  Good luck to those teams advancing, I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and you have a wonderful summer. Thanks again, Gary.

Updates -   Mt.Abe advances to Regional Tournament in Albany NY with a walk-off win over Northwest 11-10 in Lyndonville in the 11&12 State Softball Tournament.

Mt.Abe knocks Lyndon out of the 9&10 Softball State Tournament in Burlington 12-11. Mt.Abe will face Essex for the State Championship.

Barre defeats St.Johnsbury in 7 innings 5-3 to win the District 4 Championship and advance to the 9&10 baseball State tournament in Burlington.

In 11&12 State Softball Northwest knocks out Lyndon 4-2 and will play Mt.Abe Monday night. 

Saturday -

State Softball 11&12 in Lyndon it was Mt.Abe 13 - 1 over Mid-Vermont and Northwest 12 - 2 over Lyndon on Friday night. Saturday Mt.Abe defeated  Northwest 12 - 6 and Mid-Vermont was eliminated by Lyndon 11 -0.

Sunday Northwest plays Lyndon in an elimination game. 

State Softball 9&10 in Burlington - Lyndonville won 16 - 1 over Burlington. Lyndonville plays the winner of the Mt. Abe/Essex game on Sunday.

Barre beat St.Johnsbury 4-2 in the 9&10 baseball districts to force a deciding game on Sunday at noon in Lyndon for the District Championship.

Friday night 10&11 baseball, St.Jay defeats Barre in 9 innings to advance to state tournament,

Lyndon defeats Barre in Barre in 11&12 baseball to advance to the State tournament in Milton starting Tuesday.

Barre defeats CalWest in 9&10 baseball to advance to the championship game against St.Johnsbury Saturday at noon in Lyndonville.

Last week-

11 & 12 Softball Championship in Barre, Lyndonville over St.Johnsbury 12-11 in a nail biter and advance to State Tournament in Lyndonville starting Friday 7/24.  

Lyndonville 9&10 Softball girls advance to States in Burlington on 7/24 after an exciting 6-5 game with Connecticut Valley North. Good game both teams.
