Played locally for Valley Stream North and on local teams in Babe Ruth & Connie Mack Leagues. Player/manager for independent mens' teams in local leagues from '87-'95. Successfully coached youth teams in Valley Stream for the past 12 years managing numerous championship teams. Championships include: 3 time VSML champions, 3 time VSLL champions, New York Metro tournament champions ('03), LICML Sandy Koufax League champions ('03), 2 time Triple Crown Wood Bat Tournament Champions ('03-'04), and FABL Metro Division champions ('06).
Also managed teams to first place finishes in
Nassau County Babe Ruth ('02), FABL ('01), and LICM Mantle ('04).
Selected to manage by VSLL for Artie Hunt Tournament ('00), VSLL District 29 Williamsport all-stars ('01-'02) - guiding team to district finals in '01 - and the LICML Sandy Koufax National All-Stars ('03).

Colts 18u FABL Team Goes to Finals
8/11/07 - The Colts beat the Bethpage Tomcats 9-3 to advance to the FABL Finals. Rob Inzerillo threw 4 shutout innings to get the win in relief of Victor Gonzalez. Inzerillo also went 3-4 at bat with 2 doubles and 2 rbi. Marc Dern hit a long Home run onto Emerson Place in right center, as he also had 3 hits and 4 rbi. Evan Laude hit a bases clearing triple that put the Colts up 6-3 in a 5-run 5th inning. Joe Bencivenga and Rick Andersen had 2 hits. Joe Endrich made the defensive play of the day cutting down a runner trying to stretch a single, with a strong throw from CF. The Colts playoff record is now 4-1, and the combined season record stands at 21-8.
The 18u FABL Colts have won the first 2 rounds of the Championship playoffs. Game 1 was a 3-0 win over the NY Monarchs at Barrett Park on Friday. Victor Gonzalez pitched yet another gem in going all the way for the shutout. Joe Bencivenga's triple in the 5th led to the Colts 3rd run and provided some breathing room after the Colts added single runds in the 2nd and 3rd innings.
On Sunday, Tom Forkin was outstanding in a 3-1 complete game victory over the Central Meadow Rams. Joe Endrich broke a 1-1 tie as he took home on a wild pitch. Tim Doepfner and Marc Dern had rbi's.
