Valley Stream Colts vs CP Stars
The CP Stars jump out to a quick 3-0 lead. Jason Barry the Colts lead off batter hits a blast over the CF head for a stand up double. Justin J.T. Baeyans, the patient hitter that he is, allows Jay to steal 3rd. J.T with a good at bat beats out an infield single which allows Jay to score. M.J. (1-3 RBI) then comes up with runners on 1st and 2nd and gets a Huge base hit and J.T scores.
Colts still trail 3-2. The CP Stars, attempting to dethrone the defending champs, put another two runs on the score board and took a 5-2 lead. Jason (2-3) the clutch hitter that he is starts a 2 out rally w/ a nice single to CF. Justin once again being patient allows Jay to steal 2nd and 3rd and ultimately works out a walk. Noah Noe Centeno (2-3 2 doubles 2 RBIS) hits a frozen rope to CF which just tips off the top of the center fielders glove. Colts still trail 5-4. J.T Baeyans pitching his heart out, keeps the Colts cold bats in the game.
In the bottom of the 5th with 1 out Noe comes to the plate again and hits another rope but this time well over the center fielders head for a stand up double. Mikey Smiles (on base all day due to his great eye at the plate) works out his 3rd walk of the day. Noe ignites the team and steals home to tie the game 5-5. J.T pitching his 4th and final inning in the 85 degree heat gives up a lead off triple to the CP Stars # 4 hitter and walks the next batter with runners on 2nd and 3rd Noe comes in to pitch. The first batter hits a sharp ground ball back to Noe , Noe playing heads up baseball throws home and Mason puts a great tag on the CP Stars #4 batter. Noe then closes the door with six straight strikes.
Mark "The Shark" Roder leads off the bottom of the 6th with the shot of the day, a one bounce BOMB to the gate. Then Mr. Clutch Big Vinny McDemmot with two strikes on him hits a laser past the diving 1st baseman which scores the winning run and pushes the Colts to their 2nd consecutive championship game.
(Way to go Vinny Kid you got big like you where all year long)!

CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
VALLEY STREAM COLTS VS MASSAPEQUA CHIEFS
The Colts came out with an empty tank in the Championship game. The Chiefs jumped out to a 2-0 lead, BIG Vinny McDemmot starts a two out rally with a walk. BIG Vin then shows his speed and steals 2nd and 3rd base. T-Mac with his sweet swing strokes a single which brings home BIG Vin. The Colts bats begin to shows signs of life when Matt Kelman hits a solid base hit to center field which brings T-Mac home. Colts tie the game.
Jason Barry, pitching in his second career start, keeps the Colts in the game. Andrew comes in relief of Jay and pitches amazing. Andrew doesn t only do it with his pitching but drives in a key RBI.
In the bottom of the 4th with runners on 2nd and 3rd, Mr. Clutch Big Vinny McDemmot (2-3, 2 RBIs) strokes a line drive over the 2nd basemens head and ties the game. In the top of the 5th the Chiefs take a 6-5 lead. In the bottom of the 5th the Colts refusing to hand over their title, wake up the sleeping monster. Noe Centeno (2-3) legs out a single and then steals 2nd, 3rd and home for the tie. M. J. stokes a single between SS and 3rd, Mark the Shark walks and Mason belts a double , Big Vin then singles, Josh Alvarez puts the ball in play which scores M. J. Colts end the inning with a 10-5 lead.
