The objective of this program is to provide the opportunity for all players of all skill levels to participater in an instructional intramural setting. The more experienced players will be able to compete at a higher level, if selected to one of the travel teams. Since there are a limited number of spots available, participants may not play in more than one basketball league.

Boys Junior High Level:  Grades 7, 8, and 9

This league is open to the first 80 boys who sign up.  There will be a

maximum of 10 teams with 8 players on each team.  There will be evaluations at the end of Nov.  The purpose of the evaluations is to have a fair and balanced league.  You must attend the evaluations.  You will be notified by email.  Once the evaluations are completed, teams will practice Saturdays and Sundays starting 12/5 until the Christmas break.  After the break teams will play a Saturday game and a Sunday game-no practices.  Practice and game times will be anywhere between 9:00-3:00 on Saturdays and 12:00-5:00 on Sundays.  After the evaluations there will be no weeknight practices or games.  Each team will play approximately 18 games. Every player will be guaranteed at least a half of playing time each game.  There will be very knowledgeable adult referees.  The focus will be on clean, sporting, competitive games.  Almost all practices and games will be played tentatively at Shiloh Hills.

Volunteers:     The continuation of these programs is dependent on
volunteers. Please consider volunteering. We need referees, coaches,
scorekeepers, and team parents. If you can help, please indicate so on
the registration form or call us.
