Cats Take Game #1? Barely!

The Cats started off slow and played that way most of the game but scored when needed in over time beating the Bruins 3-2. The Cats started off the scoring with a goal by Matthew Morancy 3 minutes into the game. The Bruins tied it up with one by Troy Sherman. The Cats regained the lead in the second with a goal by Cole Colosimo. Only 3 minutes into the third Tyler Maticic tied the game. It stayed that way until 8 minutes left in the second overtime period when Matt Sutor scored a power play goal giving the Cats a 3-2 win. The Bruins out shot the Cats 28-14 with Devin Russell playing fantastic picking up the win. Jacob Balassi was strapped with the lose. Next game goes Saturday night.
