Tallwood high school, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is the home of our 3-time defending Beach District Champion boys volleyball team, the MIGHTY LIONS! State finalists and Eastern Region Champions in 1998 and 2000, this year's team is currently 7-0 in league play, and hopes to remain undefeated in route to a fourth consecutive district title. Directed by State Coach of the Year Angela Hubner, our Tallwood LIONS are led by Captain Alex Brownley, Captain Chris Dabu, and Captain Rob Bruce. Other outstanding players include: middle Derrick Wilson, outside hitter Christian Mosley, foreign exchange student Francisco Albani, defensive specialist Michael Tomlin, and opposite Russell Reynoso. Assistant coaches are Rio Caras and Daniel Bowery. We are UNITED in LION PRIDE!
