Sub-Division III South Day 4
Well let's just say that we did not look like the players that have represented us this year through the tournamant. That does not mean that we are not proud of them. They went out there trying to win the game, they just fell short. Our bats were not matches to their bats. We had a great run and please thank these players for representing Vista National with Pride and Pose. These players left their hearts out there on the field and came up short this year.
Please thank every AllStar player for representing Vista National throughout the AllStar tournament. They played well and tried these best and as fans of these players that is all we can ask of them.
Thank you Vista National AllStars you represented us well!
Sub-Division III South - Day 3
VNLL lost a tough one 6 - 4 against Ladera Ranch. The bats were not as lively today as they have been, but the coaches are bringing alarm clocks next game. This sets up a game against Sweetwater on Tuesday @ 6:30 same location. Good luck to our Vista National team, it is a tougher road but we know you are up to the challenge. Please support these players at Imperial Beach Little League.
Sub-Division III South - Day 2
VNLL had an off day, but they were able to find out who they will face on Monday. Ladera Ranch defeated Sweetwater Little League 4-2 to set up the match on Monday between Vista National vs Ladera Ranch Monday, July 27th 6:30 at Imperial Beach Little League (425 Imperial Beach Boulevard, Imperial Beach, CA 91932).

Sub-Division III South - Day 1
We pulled off a victory to show a team how to act on a baseball field, and that is to allow the baseball play dictate the game not the chatter. VNLL took the game into their own hands and dropping the other team in 4 innings 16-4. We at VNLL are very proud of Preston, he overcame the taunting and pitched through it striking out 7 in just 4 innings. The bats were lively today which helped us to shorten the game. Ethan will be taking a shower today looking like a baseball as he was hit twice in a row (what a team player). Kenney nice knock! Matt way to get it going! Nick nice rip! Bradden another nice rip! Of course the big boys (we know who you are) came through and delivered also. You know the list goes on and on. The players looked great today, let’s keep up the great work.
Next up the winner of the 11 PM game (Sweetwater vs. Ladera Ranch). VNLL will be ready to play Monday, July 27th 6:30 at Imperial Beach Little League (425 Imperial Beach Boulevard, Imperial Beach, CA 91932), are you ready to support them?
Please note that if you were at the game, know the right way to act and the wrong way, we should always choose to act the right way as we did today. Thanks to all of the VNLL fans for proving we know how to conduct business. The players handled the situation great and that is a testament to the way those players were raised and taught, Thank You.

Section 6 11 Year Old Tournament Day 5
The players truly came out looking to win tonight. I believe the coaches brought the alarm clocks to ensure the bats were awake, because the bats were awake tonight. Again the VNLL team had to face ENLL, which many of the players recalled last years match up which actually saw ENLL declaring victory. For many of the players this is the sixth time the two teams have faced each other and currently they two have a split decision. This years matchup was almost a mirror image of last years matchups with VNLL declaring victory by a score of 9 -5.
Today was a day for VNLL though, pitching was abundant and the hitting was alive. We had multiple long balls that propelled us in the lead everytime the game got close. The players proved that they had a never give up attitude as they saw a 5 - 0 lead dwindle away. They got out of that inning and showed that they could also hit the ball and went on to lead the game for good.
Next matchup is for Sub-Division which is Sat July 25th @ 1:30 PM. Sub-Division games will be held a Imperial Beach Little League, 425 Imperial Beach Boulevard, Imperial Beach, CA 91932 please come out to continue to support these players.
Please extend your appreciation to these players, coaches and parents for their dedication and hard work. This team is not done yet, next stop Sub-Divsion and Division.
Good Luck!

Section 6 11 Year Old Tournament Day 4
VNLL drops their first game of the tournament. In a hard fought battle VNLL came up just short dropping the game 6 -2 to ENLL. This leads up to the elimination game on Wednesday 6PM at OALL. This game is a rematch of a year ago, which found ENLL edging out VNLL. This year VNLL plans to change the tides and take the Section 6 Championship home with us.
If anyone is looking to witness some great baseball, show up at OALL to see these two teams battle for the Section 6 Championship. Let's show these players that we are proud of their efforts by showing up in numbers and cheering loudly.
Sunday, July 19
Section 6 11 Year Old Tournament Day 2
On day two of the tournament VNLL came ready to play some baseball. Against a very strong Encinitas National team, the VNLL team proved they know how to play ball by defeating ENLL by a score of 11-7. The players came out and played a very good all around game. The bats were lively and the defense was truly second to none. The players continue to prove that baseball is a team sport and all of the players have been contributing.
VNLL does not play in the tournament on Monday, while they wait to see who they play in the Championship game. We need to show these players that VNLL supports them. They are working hard so get out there and show them you are proud of their hard work. Their next game is on Tuesday at 6PM. See you at OALL.

Section 6 11 Year Old Tournament Day 1
In a hard fought battle the District 70 Champs were victorious. Chad had a 2 hit outing which catapulted the team to a 4-2 victory over a very strong TierraSanta team. The player proved that they know how to pull through a win without the appearance of the long ball. The players showed that they mean business and we are ready for the next competitor.
Come and support the team Sunday 4:00PM at OALL (222 Brooks St, Oceanside, CA). They boys will play their game but our support shows that we are proud of them, please show your support.

As many who follow sports can attest to, winning championships in back to back years is a large undertaking but the 10/11YOs were up to the challenge. The 11's had to have went into the tournament with a big target on their backs being the District 70 9/10YO AllStar Champions just a year ago, but they were able to show District that they knew how to play baseball. The championship game was rematch of the first game the 11's played with RBVLL seeking revenge. It was definitely a hard fought battle that was won by a strong group of players that put their hearts out on the field. This team took the tournament by truly working as a team, everyone hit, everyone played good defense, and the pitching held up throughout, what an effort.
It was great to see our VNLL players, coaches, parents, and board members out there showing everyone that we are behind our teams.
The action continues this Saturday, July 18th @ 4:00 at Oceanside American Little League (222 Brooks St, Oceanside, CA).
