U-7 Developmental Team

Vitoria FC would like to introduce the U-7 Developmental team.   The goal of the team is to train young players to reach their full potential.  The U-7 team players will use the skills they acquire and play soccer year round in a pressure free enviornment. The natural progression for U-7 players is to join one of VItoria FC's club teams that play in MAPLE (Massachusetts Premier League).  The program is designed for both girls and boys, ages 4 to 8.   The team practices twice a week, and play in-house games on Sunday Mornings.

The team is under the direction of Carlos Semedo.  Carlos was born in Portugal and grew up there playing soccer as a child. His professional soccer career began at the age of 18 for the Clube de Futebol Estrela da Amadora in the Portuguese SuperLiga division 1. Carlos was a member of the Portuguese National team for U-18, U-20 and U-21. One of his greatest accomplishments is being a part of the Portuguese National team U-18, which won the European Soccer Championships. Carlos continued his professional soccer career in Europe until 2002 when he came to the United States to play for the New England Revolution. In addition to N.E. Revolution, Carlos also played for Rochester Raging Rhinos and the Syracuse Salty Dogs.
