Tournament Update: We won our first game 5-1 over Fresno Blue Devils. We then played and beat the Bakersfield Braves 12-2. This kept us in the winner's bracket to play Buchanan Bears in the Semi Final. It was eventful. We were down 6-4 going into the top of the 7th and we ended up putting on 4. We held them in the bottom of the 7th and called it a day. The Mariners who continued to win in the Loser's bracket beat Buchanan in the championship of the loser's bracket 12-2. We faced the Mariner's in the Championship game, and lost 16-12 in a combined 34 hit game. We sent 42 hitters to the plate while they sent 45. It was unreal. The Mariners had to beat us twice (just like last year with the Frozen Rope). We played them last night back at Clovis High. Our bats stayed hot and we beat them 14-1 to win the championship. Stats will be posted on the website shortly. Click on the link to see the bracket. Annual Turkey Bowl
This year's annual Turkey Bowl went very well with one team seriously out playing the other. I want mention which team won, but my team didn't lose. The score was 45-27. Nobody sustained any major injuries, however, several of the dads were limping around the next day. The game took place at Neighborhood Church from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Thank you to everyone who participated.
