Virginia Volcanoes 2019/20: Welcome

The Virginia Volcanoes 11U is a travel baseball team.  We play at the highest levels in travel baseball (AAA/Majors; Elite/Premier).  Our team is comprised of young men from Fredericksburg and the surrounding communities who have made a commitment to compete regionally and nationally at the highest level.  Travel baseball teams provide talented players with an opportunity to improve their baseball skills through year-round practices, clinics and tournament play.  Our mission is to field a team that has well-rounded baseball players that is able to compete at the highest levels in a positive environment.  Our vision is to become a premier baseball team of national prominence.  As such, our coaching staff is committed to the instruction of sound fundamental baseball, good sportsmanship, and leadership; and to provide these fine youngsters an opportunity to experience competitive baseball in a safe, exciting, and professional manner.  In our first season together as a reconfigured team, our boys have (to date) compiled a 45-14-2 record while winning 1 out of every 2 tourneys they have entered.

As alluded above, the Volcanoes play in tourneys wherever the best competition is expected to play.  Therefore, we participate in numerous travel leagues/associations including (in alphabetical order):  Continental Amateur Baseball Association (CABA), East Coast Travel Baseball (ECTB),  Nations, Play Top Gun Sports, Ripken, Triple Crown Sports, United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA), etc.
