VICTORS GET FIRST WIN OVER CENTRAL
The Victors after an 0-3 start were looking for their first win when Central came to play at the CPEC. The Victors got on the board early at 37:41 when Courtney Edwards finished a pass from Morgan Putnam. Although continuing to pressure the Central defense the Victors were not able to add to the score in the first half. At 36:22 of the second half Putnam scored with an assist from Taylor McMahon. Less than 6 minutes later Putnam scored again unassisted to put the Victors up by 3. With 18 minutes remaining Melissa Blenner scored the final goal of the game off an assist from Emma Shimek. Allison Onslow had the shutout in goal.
The JV's continued their undefeated season with a duplicate 4-0 score over Central. The Victor goals were scored by Taylor McMahon, Rachel Mannino, Colleen Hutzel and Annmarie Coppola. Elizabeth Patsy had 2 assists and Chloe Hampy had one. Emma Shimek had the shutout in goal.

VILLA OVER BRADFORD
With Bradford visiting, the Victors set the tempo for the evening when they scored in the first 30 seconds. That momentum carried them to 10-0 victory over the Owls. Scoring for the Victors were Taylor Jones 2, Morgan Putnam 2, Emma Shimek 2, Courtney Edwrads, Courtney Deiner, Emily Schwabenbauer and Eileen Burger. Assisting on the goals were Putnam 2, Jones 2, Elizabeth Patsy 2, Paige DeLavern 2 and Edwards. Sharing the shutout in goal were Allison Onslow, Kaitlyn Unger and Emma Shimek.
The JV's continued their undefeated season with a 2-1 win over Bradford. Scoring for Villa were Taylor McMahon and Chloe Hampy.

VILLA JV'S @ GM
The Villa JV team downed the GM Lancers 3-2 behind goals from Annmarie Copola, Dorothy Swagler and Julia Lorei.
Monday, October 1
NORTH ALLEGHENY RUNS OVER VILLA
Villa entertained AAA powerhouse North Allegheny and was treated to a clinic in soccer passing. NA scored 3 in the first and added 4 in the second for a decisive 7-0 win. NA remained undefeated while severing the Victor's 2 game win streak.
The JV's suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of NA 4-0.
