Coach Sickelbaugh will lead Bishop in its seventh year of Varsity Wrestling. The team had a successful 08-09 campaign, finishing the season with a 19-8 dual record, placing second in the Northwest conference and qualifying for the state duals for the first time. The 08-09 squad gave Coach Sickelbaugh a milestone 100th victory as a head coach. Coach Sickelbaugh is in his twelfth year as a head wrestling coach and his fourteenth year overall. He previously served as an assistant wrestling coach at Beechcroft High School in Columbus, Ohio and then Head Wrestling Coach at Trinity High School here in North Carolina. After several years away from the sport, he became Assistant and then Head Wrestling Coach at High Point Central High School. Brian has coached three state champions, one state runner up and other state place winners. In addition, he has had 25 state qualifiers, thirteen of which have been from Bishop over the past four years. Brian graduated from the University of Toledo.
Coach Sic also teaches Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Physical Science and Earth Science at Bishop.

Coach Kevin Lapina
Kevin is in his 7th year as an assistant at Bishop. He was a standout high school wrestler in Ohio before going on to wrestle at Ohio University. Prior to Bishop, Kevin was head coach at Copley High School in Ohio from 1996-1999 where he had a state champion, two third place finishers, and one fifth place finisher. Kevin has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Pre-Physical Therapy and a Master's Degree in Athletic Training from The University of Akron.

Coach Will Gregory
Will is a graduate of Seventy First High School in Fayetteville, NC and was a member of the varsity wrestling team for 3 years. In his senior year he was a State Qualifier and his team finished second in the NC State high school wrestling tournament. Will is also a two time champion of the WRAL Invitational, a well known and competitive in-season touranment held annually in Raleigh, NC.
Will is also a graduate of Appalachian State University where he participated in the wrestling program during his freshman year.
